The university provides several fee waiver opportunities schemes for new students, on-going students and students who are about to or have taken their thesis exam (Rector Regulation 2.1/UN34/VII/2019). Education tuition fee ranges from Rp. 500.000 until Rp. 9.000.000 based on the rules and regulations set by UNY. In 2020, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, students who are financially affected may propose for fee waiver (Keputusan Rektor No. 2.20/UN34/V/2020).
